We are in a very urgent need of “Telecom System Architect – Wireless” for our precious Client at Bangalore.
Telecom System Architect – Wireless
ARCHITECT - L2 - WARCHTL2
Responsible for managing the design & architecture for small -
medium projects or for contributing to large complex projects. In large,
complex projects primarily responsible for conducting PoC with internal and
external stakeholders to evaluate the Architecture itment, NFR realization and
reuse/automation strategy.
The incumbent oversees the activities on architecture/design
realization performed by L1 Architects and Technical Leads.
This role requires knowledge of multiple development technologies.
Application of advanced knowledge and experience to the
development of new methods, programs and procedures.
The role would offer expertise cutting across units and would make
tactical decisions which will have an impact on the business.
SUITe Skill(s)
Skill1 - Architecting (L2)
Responsible for managing the design & architecture for small
to medium projects/ contributing to large complex projects.
Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical/
proprietary skills to reach levels of industry acknowledgement.
Works as a guide and independently sets directions for medium
sized projects of high complexity.
Works on problems of highly complex scope, through expert usage of
non-standard concepts & principles requiring high levels of judgment &
interpretation.
Determines a course of action, which is then executed by project
teams.
Can offer multiple solutions to problems through existing and new
methodologies and then exercises judgement to determine most appropriate
solution.
Requires expert knowledge of multiple development technologies.
Has sufficient expertise to write and present whitepapers and
articles in recognized magazines and industry forums.
Applies advanced knowledge and experience to the development of
new methods, programs and procedures.
The role would offer expertise cutting across units and would make
tactical decisions which will have an impact on the business.
Manages divergent interest and perspectives.
Advises Sr Management on specialisedtechnical issues.
Conducts supports and reports research in one’s own area of
expertise.
Is responsible for capability development of the team/ unit.
Skill2 - Wireless Access (L3)
Should have worked for at least 24 months in Wireless Access
Technologies/Products - GSM, GPRS, EDGE, CDMA, CDMA-EVDO, WiMAX,
UMTS,3GPP/3GPP2
Should have worked on a least 2 VTPs in Wireless Access domain.
Good understanding of Wireless Access networks and deployment
scenarios.
Ableto estimate for features and list risks from experience.
Should be comfortable in design patterns and tools for debugging.
Skill3 - Solution Architecture (L2)
1. Ability to take the functional and non-functional requirements
and propose solution that will be able to meet the requirements.
2. Identify the design areas and the integration point between
these areas (at least few of the design areas). Effectively track the
integration points in the design to ensure there are no omissions.
3. Work with the design team to realize the architecture by
providing suggestions on design options.
4. Review and validate the design decisions taken by the design
teams.
5. Work with client architecture teams in- defining overall
solution architecture - procure the enterprise standards that need to be
followed - validate the non-functional requirements
6. Present the architecture and design to necessary stake holders
as required.
7. Working experience with common SDLC methods (RUP, Velociq)
8. Must have worked inatleast one medium complex architecture
Skill4 - Wireless Architecting (L2)
