Title:Launch Mix
& Rate Verification Analyst x2 (or) Launch Components Trend Analyst (mid term) x2

Position
Purpose (Brief
Summary of why position exists)
The Analyst will be responsible for collating
global launch data to allow global allocation decisions to be made for all new
launches in the short term.
They will then populate the allocation decision
matrixes and provide presentations to explain the outcomes to Global M&S
leadership teams.
The analyst will work with the capacity planning
and MP&L teams to work through several scenarios if the constraint can be
handled in more than one direction.
Job Responsibilities:

Work with CBG program and MP&L team to
achieve buy in to the data.

Develop and populate allocation templates to
allow decisions to be made.
·
Work with capacity teams to work through
scenarios where several decision choices are possible
·
Work with capacity teams to provide data to
allow fair allocations of costs for capacity uplifts
·
Keep and up to date "Global allocation
rules" database
·
Provide presentations to support allocation
decisions to CBG and senior management.
·
Provide suggestions for near term and long
term process improvements and tool requirements, considering integration points
with future GOTD/EPIC workstreams.
·
Ensure department is an integrated part of the
global demand and allocations departments

Education Qualification :
BE, MBA
Number of Years of Experience : 7 years
Professional Exposure : Auto, M&S, Logistics, Constraints
Management
Skill & Knowledge requirement
:
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to use Excel, Word and Powerpoint to an
expert level.
- Fluency in English language

Job Title: Deputy Manager
Functional Area: Global Sales and
Marketing
Reporting to Manager
Location: Chennai
Position
Purpose (Brief
Summary of why position exists)
The role of the analytics team is to provide data
interrogation and modeling for regional demand data. This is in order to verify
and improve forecast accuracy for the region, particularly for the 3-4 year
time period.
The person needs to act as a key resource for the
region they represent to improve analytical analysis. This person will be the
face of the analysts and hence will need to have very strong English language
skills, inter personal skills and experience of working across cultures.
Job Responsibilities:
·
Provide official MTDR data for the region on a
quarterly basis
·
Support regions with deep dives
·
Lead a team of two analysts and support both
on technical and auto knowledge
·
Manipulate/Model data to take account of known
deviations.

Change of Industry
o
Change of Segmentation
o
Changes of product programme detail or timing.
o
Pricing strategy.
·
Develop presentations to explain MTDR outcome
back to CBG and global management.
·
Support Global Constraint Team in interpreting
data and providing clarification were required.
·
Work through scenarios to see sensitivity of
outcome to external factors (Industry/Fuel Price)
·
Work with FPV/Program and Model Program teams
to iron out any disconnects between the sets of data and allow them to update
if required.
·
Provide presentations to allow Global VP to
understand and influence the data.
Candidate Specification
Education Qualification :
Masters in Economics/Statistics + MBA
Number of Years of Experience : 8+
years
Professional Exposure : Auto (an advantage)
Skill & Knowledge requirement
:
- Econometric modeling, Simulation and
Optimization and other Statistical techniques
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Expert in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Excellent command of the English language

Possesses
good leadership skills to handle 2+ members
·
Demonstrates
interpersonal skills
·
Experience
in working across cultures and time zones
·
Proficiency
in SAS required
·
Strong
computer skills (PC, UNIX, and/or mainframe)
