Position description:

·        Conducting tax planning for clients to meet with the corporate tax obligations as per statute;
·        Representing clients at Departments/ Appellate
·        Providing advise on Corporate tax laws and regulations
·        Adhering to clients Corporate Tax compliance timelines as per statute
·        Leading and managing engagements in the field of corporate tax for clients
·        Coaching/ developing junior members on the concepts of corporate tax
·        Attend external trainings and keep updated with the latest developments

·        Strong analytical ability
·        Excellent communication and presentation skills
·        Client relationship management
·        Good commercial awareness
·        Team player
·        3-5 years of experience in direct tax compliance

Job Title : Senior / Assistant Manager
Function : Transaction Services, Transactions and Restructuring
Location : Bangalore

Some of the key areas that TS does work in, are as follows:
** Buy side financial due diligence assistance
** Sell side assistance including vendor assist and vendor due diligence
** Cross border assistance.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
** Working in our multi-disciplined teams, you will apply your talents to a wide variety of complex, demanding and high profile transactions from acquisitions and mergers to flotation's and buy-outs. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing financial analysis on data provided and arriving at conclusions / identifying issues
To undertake smaller assignments or assist in larger assignments reporting to a manager or partner
Assess data accuracy and reasonableness and follow-up directly with clients and third-parties appropriately to achieve necessary understanding and to resolve anomalies
Preparation and review sections of Transaction; Restructuring reports
Management of and contribution to the development of junior staff
Establishing credibility with clients/targets as a representative of company Transaction Services
Maintaining business contacts (i.e. it is our expectation that associates will make a positive commitment to maintaining contact with people they meet on transactions, who may become important providers of work in the future)
To provide support/assistance for proposals/business development activities.
To contribute to the effective working of the team and development of team morale
To prepare first draft engagement letters, demonstrating T&R technical/risk management awareness


>> THE INDIVIDUAL
** Have (0-3 yrs of experience for Senior) and (3 -5 years of experience for Assistant Manager) in Transaction Services or in a similar environment (Audit and accounting firms)
** Have strong analytical skills and good verbal and written communication
** Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills, issue identification/prioritization/ resolution and report writing skills
** Strong written and spoken English language skills
** Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
** Have the ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours
** Be willing to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of time
** Have strong soft skills such as; inter personal skills, team skills, communication skills both verbal and written

QUALIFICATION
** Be a qualified CA (ideally 1st attempt)

Assistant Manager – Transfer Pricing

Role & Responsibilities

·        Having thorough understanding of the clients business and the issues involved
·        Ability to bring first hand solutions to the issues of the client  at the time of discussion with Manager / Partner
·         To keep updated with case laws and should be in a position to draw ratio of the judgments to the assignment handled
·        To understand the requirement of the client  and ensure that client timelines are met
·        To ideate and initiate the way in which a particular assignment could be handled and meet the client timeliness
·        To handle transfer pricing assessments and communicate appropriately with the tax authorities
·        To communicate with the clients and build relationship with the clients
·        Personal ownership (responsibility and accountability) for the work and performance
·        Ability to learn new skills, share knowledge and experience
·        Ability to prioritize the work and delegate appropriately to colleagues
·        To monitor on a regular basis the work delegated to junior and ensure that it is done in the required manner and at appropriate time
·        To play an important role in improving the performance of the juniors
·        Volunteers for extra / additional responsibilities when the department needs help
·        Seeks development opportunities (new project, training work)
